Ian grew up in Northern New Jersey and he continues to maintain roots in the area.

Going on his second decade of photography, Ian’s most consistent genre has been landscape, as he aims to capture feelings of nostalgia, solitude, and awe in his work.

He is currently working on a project documenting the storied fire towers and “fire tower challenge” of the Catskill Region of New York.

Outside of photography he’s an outdoorsman, craftsman, and fisherman, three of his hobbies that had a crossover when he built his boat, Rascal, a twenty one foot center console.

Wether it’s building a boat, fly fishing for trout in mountain streams, exploring the coastal waters of New England, or snowshoeing in the Catskills he’s always looking for his next adventure.
