Appalachian Trail Blizzard
As a mid Atlantic native, snowy winters have become more rare, so when western New Jersey was primed for a 12” snowstorm late winter of 2024 I had to jump on the opportunity. Driving behind snowplows on the main interstate while snow continued to fall, and then turning on 4WD heading into the backroads to get to the trailhead at daybreak. I was excited to break trail in my snowshoes, and the cherry on top was the photos that came out of it. Trekking camera gear in a snowstorm can be nerve racking but well worth it in the end. You can’t tell but this photo was taken at a scenic viewpoint that without the fog and dense snowfall would give an expansive view of high point state park; somehow I liked this scene just as much.

All photographs are taken by me, and all prints are done in my personal studio, not outsourced to a third party so I can closely monitor quality control. All matted prints come in high quality paper mats and are housed in in cellophane sleeves to preserve the quality of the prints for showing and transport. The mats are all standard sizes and will fit into a variety of commercial frames.
Note: the listed sizes are of the photograph not the exterior of the mat. Due to the varying aspect ratio’s the crop may vary from one size to another but the primary content of delivered images will not change. If you have any concerns, I am happy to share final images before shipping for review.
